Who Daikin suits
Daikin is the safe recommendation when the unit will work hard: a home office in daily use, a main bedroom cooled every summer night, or a living space you also plan to heat through winter using the unit's air-to-air heat pump mode. The efficiency premium repays itself fastest with heavy use, and the quietness matters most where you sleep or concentrate. If you want cooling for a couple of heatwave weeks a year, a strong mid-range brand will do the job for less.
