Three things worth knowing

• Engineers typically respond within 24–48 hours. If your job is urgent, say so when they call — many can prioritise repairs.
• Compare at least 2–3 quotes. Ask each engineer for a written, itemised quote covering the unit, installation and warranty.
• Check F-Gas certification. Anyone working on refrigerant systems must hold it by law — a reputable engineer will show proof happily.
